Marie-Josée Kravis

Marie-Josée Kravis is an economist specializing in public-policy analysis and strategic planning and was Executive Director of the Hudson Institute of Canada Inc. from 1976 to 1994.  In 1994 she became a Senior Fellow of the Hudson Institute Inc. (U.S.A.), and in 2011 she became Vice Chair of the Hudson Institute.

She is President of The Museum of Modern Art (New York).  She is Vice Chair of the Board of Overseers and Board of Managers of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Chair of the Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research.  She is a member of the International Advisory Committee of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.  She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.  She was a member of the Boards of Directors of Ford Motor Company and InterActiveCorp.  She is a member of the Boards of Directors of Publicis Groupe and LVMH.

Mrs. Kravis was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1994, and she is an Officier of the Légion d’Honneur in France.

Henry Kravis

Henry R. Kravis is co-founder, co-chairman, and co-chief executive officer of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Company (KKR), a leading global investment firm. Mr. Kravis currently serves on the boards of First Data Corporation and the China International Capital Corporation. He also serves as a director, chairman emeritus, or trustee of several cultural, professional, and educational institutions, including the Business Council (vice-chairman), Claremont McKenna College, Columbia Graduate School of Business (co-chairman), Mount Sinai Hospital, the Partnership Fund for New York City, the Partnership for New York City, Rockefeller University, and the Tsinghua School of Economics and Management. Mr. Kravis founded the Kravis Leadership Institute at Claremont McKenna College and established the Kravis Prize in Leadership. Mr. Kravis earned a BA degree in economics from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA degree in business administration from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
